For training to be effective, it must be intense — to be intense, it must be brief. Note: There is an inverse relationship between intensity and duration.
Nothing is more misunderstood or more critical to your success than rest. Each workout should be followed with 72 to 96 hours of rest to allow for full recovery and completion of the adaptation process. Never train more then twice a week!
